We Need Your Help To See Again!

Columbus Cocker Rescue is in need again to help 2 blind cockers get a chance to see again. Cranberry and Nola are going to be receiving cataract surgery to correct their blindness. Both girls are loving, never met an animal or person they didn't get along with, and are so deserving. They both came from horrendous conditions prior to rescue, but are still sweet & friendly dogs.

We need YOUR help in raising the $5000 (total) it will take to give both girls, their chance at a sight filled world again. Help us, help them have the chance to see again.

If you can help, even a little, please give your TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation via paypal, or send a check or money order to our

PO Box 715, New Albany, OH 43054

*When you send a donation, please let us know it is for the "2 girls cataract fund". *

Hello - My Name's Bogie

Age: 4 years old
Sex: Male
Size: 26-30 Pounds
Breed: cocker spaniel
CCRID#: 1453

Just the Facts
Bogie is an approximately 4 year old male Cocker Spaniel who came into the local shelter as a stray.

This all round doggie is just what you would expect. Happy all the time, a little mischievous, not too sure how to handle a cat rubbing under his chin, just the normal behaviors you'd expect from a bundle of joy. He loves to get on a lap and really needs a "forever home" with people who will show him that he "belongs". He is very good looking and has a full tail. He walks very very well on a leash. He loves to meet and greet other dogs and other people. He is not overt in trying to get attention and is more likely to wait until he is recognized. Bogie recently had surgery to restore sight and he is having a great time exploring all the wonderful sights that life has to offer. He has been good with children and doesn't jump on them, as some other dogs may do. This little fellow is a very nice doggie looking for a nice family to love. His adoption fee is only $200. A special thank you to our good friend, Brian Gryphon for his great photography. 6/7/12 Update: Bogie has undergone cataract surgery in one eye; unfortunately, the other could not be done because of a partially detached retina. However, his foster mom reports he is doing very well now that he can see a bit more - - perhaps the more "mischievous" he could be? He will require scheduled follow-up ophthalmology exams at OSU over the ensuing months to ensure his vision continues to progress. 9/2 - home trial
