THANK YOU--THANK YOU--THANK YOU!!

Thanks to all of the very generous donations, Cranberry is doing great after her cataract surgery. She appears to be enjoying the vision provided by the single eye cataract repair - her other eye had a detached retina, thus no vision. Nola will have surgery tomorrow, 6/12, but there were unexpected complications that have caused her surgery to be more extensive. However, thanks to all of you, we have enough to accomplish everything the ophthalmologist is recommending --- left cataract replacement with endolaser to hopefully prevent future glaucoma in this eye and right eye enucleation with prosthesis (to keep her "cuteness") since the pressures are only minimally controlled on eye medications. With Nola's personality and level of activity, she is anticipated to be an excellent candidate for both procedures and hopefully someone will adopt her based on these traits. Call Barb at 614-554-1300 to get a progress report on Nola

Hello - My Name's Gumdrop

Age: 3 years old
Sex: Male
Size: 26-30 Pounds
Breed: cocker spaniel
CCRID#: 1463

Just the Facts
Gumdrop was surrendered by his owner with Lollipop. He is an active 3 year old boy. He does not do well with other dogs. Gumdrop is healthy and ready for his new home. Update on Gumdrop: he is in a foster home and reported to be a very nice boy; sweet & lovable and loves to cuddle up next to his foster mom and follow her every place. At first he even thought he should follow her in the shower!! He loves to play fetch and run around and play with his toys. He would do very well with someone who is active and loves to jog or run. Gumdrop likes the attention and would love to have his human all to himself with no other animals to compete with. He attended an adoption event and just wanted as much love and attention as people would give him. He did very well around adults but he cannot go to a home with younger children as he was reported to have issues with some children. We believe that it involves toys or food that he doesn't want to share. So, to be safe, we will not place him in a home with younger children & he needs to go to a home with no other dogs. For more information, call 614-554-1300. His adoption fee is $200. 11/18 - home trial with Hiatt family.
