5 year old Tia is new to rescue and just moved to foster care. She was left at a kill shelter because her owner died, and the remaining family did not want her. Tia has a sweet personality and has lived with older children. More will be known about her as soon as she gets out of boarding and into a foster home.
UPDATE: Per her foster family, "Tia is a very sweet and loving young lady. She is house trained and will tell you when she needs to go outside. She is a joy to have around and would make a wonderful addition to anyone's family & her personality is perfect. Gets along with other dogs, kids and people. She can even do some tricks. We love having her as a foster in our home."
Her adoption fee would only be $200 which includes her spay, vaccines, heartworm testing, and microchipping.
UPDATE: Due to severe calcification of her poor ears, Tia is scheduled for an TECA surgery of her left ear on May 11th, to be covered by the rescue. She may need the other ear done in the future, we do not know, as she can still hear some sounds/vibrations in that ear. Columbus Cocker Rescue will be covering her surgery, but her adopter must be willing to bring her back for post surgical checkups on the ears.
