Meet Sugar,

UPDATE 5-20-2025

Sugar was in a home on a trial stay. The potential adopter was in her late 70s. Sugar pulls when she sees a bird, bunny or squirrel. She did so while on a walk and caused the potential adopter to fall. She did not get hurt but was afraid to take the chance of this happening again. The adopter was very sad and said other than the pulling she is a perfect dog. She loves people – all ages; no problem with cats; gets along with dogs. Shown a little bit of jealousy at first when showing attention to our cocker but has been much better. If you need more info let me know.

Sugar is a new breeder surrender. She joined our rescue on 04-07-2025.  Her one eye was removed at some point for a reason unknown to us. she has vision in her other eye.

She is good with other dogs and cats and likes everyone. Can get a little protective of her person, but is easily corrected.
